Estate and Trust Disputes
Becoming involved in a dispute is never a pleasant experience, when it follows the death of a loved one, or is between the beneficiaries or trustees of a family trust it can become catastrophic (emotionally and financially). Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 - used where an adult (who doesn’t have an Enduring Power of Attorney) has lost capacity to manage their own property or welfare interests and another person is required (usually on an urgent basis) to take the role of acting in that person bests interests.
